Sportfields was formed in 1991 by Geoff Collins. Starting with an agricultural and landscaping background Sportfields has evolved to become a leading specialist sports pitch construction company, meeting the needs of the changing face of sport whilst retaining its heritage in ground improvement and land drainage sectors.
Sportfields proudly operates its own fleet of specialist equipment, that embraces the latest technology to enable its highly trained workforce to deliver works to the exacting tolerances required by today’s sporting bodies and clients.
The company which has gained accreditation as a principal contractor pitch division, multi-sport division and natural sports division with SAPCA, delivers all the elements of projects from conception through to completion, including the provision of essential after-care.
We work with clients to ensure their project is completed on time, within budget and to their complete satisfaction. The company’s client list includes: national construction companies, schools and colleges, amateur and professional clubs, local authorities and specifying architects.
